Flu Shot: Should I or Shouldn’t I?

What is in the regular flu shot?  Egg protein, Gelatin, Polysorbate 80, Formaldehyde, Thimerosol, and other delightful compounds.  Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen.  Thimerosol is mercury, the heavy metal we are so assiduously trying to avoid.  According to Dr. Sherri Tenpenny (www.Dr.tenpenny.com) who has studied the vaccine dilemma, the flu shots do not work as well as they are touted.

I personally suspect that people have become more susceptible to the flu because we have taken such poor care of ourselves.  We don’t get enough sleep, we eat poorly from food that is not as nutritious as it used to be, we are exposed to more toxic chemicals than ever which put a tremendous load on our immune and other systems, and we don’t replenish our nutritional insufficiencies through taking good supplements.

I truly believe that if people addresses these concerns they would get sick less often.  Also if they build themselves up through the flu season by taking more vitamin C, more vitamin A  and zinc, more probiotics, and more vitamin D – just to name a few supplements, they would weather the onslaught better.  Check out my website newsletter: http://www.cathielippmanmd.com/news/volume3_number02.html “10 ways to reduce your flu risk”.  Most of the newsletters apply to this area and are short reads.

Wishing you healthy months ahead.
