Tuberculosis is Raging Again

Remember the operas where the heroine’s last aria is a 10 minute emotional scene before she dies of “consumption.”  Consumption was tuberculosis.  That disease however has not died.  In fact, it is making a resurgence.  This time however there is a big worry.  There are increasing strains of Tb that are resistant to the medications we have been using for decades.  The good news is twofold.  Doctors are beginning to approach each patient from a more individual perspective.  Secondly, it seems high doses of vitamin D can help to abort the infection.  That is really exciting.  Please check out this article from the Alliance For Natural Health, especially if you are considering traveling out of the United States.  There are hot spots for Tb that you want to prepare for if you a planning a trip.  http://www.anh-usa.org/whats-the-biggest-world-pandemic-risk-today-untreatable-by-conventional-medicine/
